I was in Los Angeles most of last week for meetings and one of our partners treated us to a Dodgers game. We had "primo" front row (over the dugout) seats and there was something nostalgic about being in Dodger Stadium. That place sure has some history. In the section next to us was: Tommy Lasorda, Blake Griffin (LA Clippers...who is huge!), Larry King (who looks older than dirt
)and Tom Arnold (who threw out the first pitch). The Brewers pounded the Dodgers as Prince Fielder (what a power hitter) shelled LA's pitchers keeping Joe Torre at the pitchers mound
.
Now here's the funny thing. Another friend called me that day and asked if I wanted to attend the game with him: GAME#2 LAKERS vs. UTAH!!! What are the odds of me being in LA on business and both home teams playing??? I had to reluctantly decline the Lakers game but it was still a fun trip. (If I'm lucky...perhaps my follow-up meeting/trip back out there will come during the NBA Finals...assuming the Lakers are there too
