    Rant of the day

Let me first, off off say I hate yard work, I have 3.5 acres in town we try to keep up with and it seems here lately, we mow every week. So today me and the wife decide to mow.

I have about an acre to push mow and weed eat, and the rest can be mowed with a lawn tractor. Why is it I have never seen my wife push mow or weed eat, or even volunteer to do it. I have 3 replies to my above question.

    1. I must be stupid, why should I have all the fun and not let her have some.

    2. I had 3 kids, and I thought one of them would hang around to help poor old Dad mow the lawn, but no, they have to all live out of state. I guess they got enough when they lived at home, lucky them. Dang kids, can't depend on them for nothing. LOL

    3. The seat of the lawn tractor has been molded to her rear, or vice versa, and I don't think I would be able to stay on it, in it's present condition.

Please feel free to respond, it's a joke between me and the wife.No harm no foul.

    Get a new seat.
It burns me up everytime I think about how much of my life I have wasted behind a lawn mower.

My wife won't let me mow the yard. Says I don't do it right.
I do have to mow the rest of the place and weed-eat.

1 acre to push vs 2.5 to ride? Evalute your rider. How about ride everything? If that don't work evalute your push mower. If that don't work evalute your wife! If that does not work you want have to worry about mowing, except for somebody else to make ends meet. Bottom line what ever makes her happy makes your life better!

I have been married thirty years this July and I have not pushed or driven a mower even one foot. She mows because she says she needs more exercise. And I let her.

you could always move to new Mexico and have one of them fancy rock yards or ones with astro-turf...then you never have to mow again. lol
