Heck of a deer in both cases, but he looks happier with that second one. I actually kind of like his style, I bet the deer would feel better knowing he was killed by a well dressed man; kind of like Gus wanting to shoot at an educated man for once.

Friend of mine guides quail hunts on his ranch for him, he was there 3 days and went out twice with his dogs and was paid for three days. The owner in the picture is 80 and a Mexican National. He is the real deal as down to earth a person as you would find. I saw those pics in early January.

I know Mr. B and have hunted with him on his place out NW of Ft. Davis that he has for mule deer. I've been on the Chaparossa and there are indeed some monsters. Part of the Chaparossa is high fenced. A small part. You can see part of it on the south side of 57 just before you hit the Maverick Co line.

Exactly this. And just had to be the second reply. Another TBH downfall... mods could quickly clean this up and deal with it. Unnecessary.

I did not see it, but I can imagine that all the trees except those along the major creek bottoms were knocked down. What a site that must have been? Was it the... Read More →
