    Spintech feeder help needed...

I bought one of the popup spinner plates for my feeder. There are no instructions in the box, the compnay won't answer the phone or return my calls, or answer my emails. Anyone know how to assemble this thing? Thanks

Post up some pics. Then go get some duct tape. And some baling wire. And a bigger hammer. We'll talk you through it.

Couple of points to note first:

      1) Your feeder opening (where the corn drops from) will need to have a down spout / cone to marry up to the spinner plate for a good seal. They provide one in the kit if you do not have one.

      2) The motor must spin in the proper direction for the SpinTech mechanism to function correctly. See installation notes below.

      Installation:
-Install the spindle on the 1/4" motor shaft and tighten the set screw. If your motor has a 1/8" shaft, use the adapter provided in the kit.
-Place the spring on the spindle
-Place the large flat washer on top of the spring
-Place the spinner plate onto the spindle (on top of the flat washer)
-Adjust the height setting of timer box to allow the spinner plate to travel up/down the spindle. when at rest, you want it to fit snug against the feeder's down spout to keep corn from spilling and varmints out
-Attach the timer or battery and quickly test. If it doesn't spin correctly, reverse the battery leads so the motor will spin in the opposite direction and test again
      -Adjust height again as necessary

Hope this helps. It is from memory. <grin>

Did you get the one with the LED attachment? I ordered one and had to rewire it
