Here's a rub Drake and I stumbled onto this past Sunday. We were signing for Axis and Whitetail in an area we haven't hunted this year. Guess we better go with the information provided. This is a pretty darn wide Axis rub and whitetail rubs are all over the place as well.

Rubs getting ready for the rut. I read an article in some hunting
magazine, stating that the peak date to hunt is November 7.
Supposedly, this is the peak of buck activity prior to the peak of the rut.
His research was based on trail cams from a variety of sources over a
three year period. The only disclaimer he offered was "north of the 35th
parallel." What are y'all's thoughts?
