Awesome blood trailer no doubt! Probably would cut down on the hyper part of the lab also. Not sure how it would look though......probably don't matter for a working critter!

I have one of each, The beagle taught the chocolate lab how to dig and bark. The new yellow lab needed no pointers on the barking part. The beagle is now 11 and he has retired from his excavation job in my back yard. Either he decided he was satisfied with the job or he just got tired, I'm happy either way.

Sounds like a mix that can dig or chew out of any yard.

Wife used to have one. Really good looking dog, but talk about need room to run. Didn't bark to much, wanted to dig and tear up anything it could. Would have been a great dog if we would have spent more time with her

My son and I found 2 pups running around in a Dennys parking lot years ago. Turned out they were beagle/lab mutts. We did not keep the male, he was about 18 pounds at around 9 months and close to full sized. Cute little dog, looked like a beagle with yellow fur and a pattern in it that would be the different beagle colors. We left him at a duck club, the owner was a jerk, another guy took the dog for his brother and sister in law in San Jose.

I met them a couple years later, we were talking and somehow they told the story of their dog being left at a duck club, and we realized it was the same dog.

She said it was the smartest, friendliest dog she'd ever owned and the best pet her familiy had. The named him Lucky since he was lucky to be alive and living with them.

I have a lab/bassett mix and she has got a nose on her. Smart and eager to learn and please her companion. It didn't take long at all to get her intertested in blood.
