Can anyone translate.....

I heard something in Russian (I think) and I would like to know what it means. Of course online translators won't work because I can't spell in Baltic languages either. Do any of you speak Russian?

The word, or phrase, in question sounded like "los codania". I have no idea how to spell it with the funny letters, or even if I spelled it phonetically correct, but I don't think it means what I was told.....

Any ideas?

Could you have heard "dasvidaniya"? If so, it means goodbye in Russian.

It definitely was not goodbye... I know hello, goodbye and a couple of other words... Rod made a good point over the phone a minute ago and I don't think that I really want to know any more.
