Good restaurants around Bigfoot or Lytle?

My brother and I are leaving early Friday morning for a Javelina and Turkey hunt around Bigfoot, Tx. We are staying in Lytle, Tx. Does anybody know any good restaurants around there?

Only one that comes to mind is Triple C steakhouse in Devine which is between Lytle and Bigfoot. Good steaks but haven't been there in a long time. Not too familiar with Lytle restaurants but they do have a Bill Miller bbq, Sonic, Dairy Queen and McDonalds just off the highway.

Restaurants in Bigfoot? Nah, Triple C. Just watch out for the oak tree in the middle of the road in Bigfoot--highway splits with one lane going on each side of it (at least it was that way about 15 years ago when I drove through.)

"El Parador Cafe" just past the 1604 loop in Von Ormy has great mexican food and open 24/7.....that's our pit stop heading south.

Am I the only one who didn't know that there is actually a town named Bigfoot?

That is home for us. We call it Bigfoot Yancey because of the exit off 35. It is under the radar but Frio county has some nice deer.

Triple C steakhouse in Devine. Lunch buffet till 2?? Dinner's good & open till 10pm. Mi Casa restaurant in Pearsall, after you browse around Los Cazadores on I-35 south. Stay away from Taqueria Guadalajara in Devine...Check out the Yancey store in Yancey for camp supplies, gas and antiques...

Locals eat at a place called Charlie's in Devine...it's in town, off the main road...been years since I ate there, but the last time it was really good. Drive into town and ask someone for directions at a gas station.

If Eddie is in there, he may come up and ask you to state your business...he's harmless Look for the loaded bicycle outside...if it's there...he's inside
