Heavy duty zero turn mower? Best of the best?

This is coming from someone who has had at least one of each, grasshopper, scag, jacobson, JD, Toro, Gravely, etc. The very best you can buy is a Toro groundsmaster, next would be a grasshopper then a scag and john deere for commerical. For not so commerical the rest will do.

My Granddad sells the Hustler mowers & they are tough. I can mow my 5+ acres in about 2+ hours with one of the mowers w/ a 60" deck. They have one with a 72" deck & that cuts quite a bit of time off.

They are super well made & have diesel or gas engines available.

I have a John Deere 1050 with that little 3 cylinder JanMar diesel. She has a 72" brush hog, heck, maybe I'll just stay with that. I don't think she uses 15 gals. of fuel per summer.
She mows in 3rd gear low range and seems happy with it.
