    Found this critter on my back patio this evening. What type of snake is it?

    plain old chicken snake or rat snake witch ever you want to call it

            yep. it was a mouse catcher. baby rat snake. there will be more around. they wont do any harm to you.

                Yep...Rat snake, was a good one. But none are good if your scared of them and smack something trying to get away from it!
