Great way to start the morning

Had some yard work to do today so went out to the shed to realize it was locked. Grabbed my truck keys which had probably 20 keys on the ring. Every thing from truck, van, house, shed, cabin, and all the gate keys to different property I have access to. Usually I lust leave them in the door but instead put them on the brick ledge. Messed around in the garden a bit and then got the lawn mower and started mowing the back. Hadnt mowed 30 feet and I heard an awful sound iof hitting something. Was my keys, they fell off the brick ledge into the grass. Smack Recoverd maybe 9 bent up and broke keys. Never found my truck key and found half the van key,. Those keys we found were scattered all over the back yard.
Wish I could turn back time a few hours, this is as bad as losing a wallet if not worse. Was going to fill my feeder this evening and not sure I found that key and if I did it is bent up pretty good.

Metal detector found a few but I guess some are made that it wont pick em up. Just gotta laugh it off and move on.
In 10,000 years a Johnny decendent might be roaming these parts and find one of my keys.

Been there done that. I tell myself to just forget about it and laugh it off but dang if that ain't hard to do. lol I ended up putting a combo lock on my ranch gate a few weeks ago because I don't trust myself with the key to the one I replaced.
