I think my memory card was taken from camera.

I hunted turkeys this morning and went to pull the card from my camera and it was gone. I'm 99% sure I put it back in before I left.They could have gotten a popup, tripod, feeder, and hang on stand and of course the camera but nothing was taken or messed with. What should I do now?

Go home and check to make sure you put your card in the camera before you do anything....Ive done it before and gone back to camp to find it in my storage box.

Well - - - if you are my age (Soc Sec recipient), then I'd say you just forgot. Look around in your truck, pack, etc. and see what turns up. Another thing to do is see if there are any images on the camera's internal memory. If so, transfer them to a card and see if any images were recorded in the interval before your hunt today. I would find it hard to believe someone was snooping around and saw the camera and just pulled the card to take the "evidence" without snatching anything else, but stranger things have happened.

I have looked everywhere. I keep one in my little digital camera to look at the pics with and switch them out. The only thing I could think was they were not a thief and just looking around and then saw the camera and didn't want to be on film so they just took the card.

Very well could be...could even be a lease member or neighbor that you would recognize.

We had the same thing happen on our lease during the hunting season. Some poachers took the card and left everything else. Guess they didn't want us to see who they were.

I pulled the camera today and there wasn't even a pic taken after the card was pulled, so it couldn't have been out since last weekend when I was there. I noticed a set of 4 wheeler tracks going part way to my stand. I really think it was stolen.

Could have been. I had a lease mate walk up to my feeder and had his pic taken but he told me before hand 'If there was a pic of a guy on my camera it was me' no big deal. I really think somebody was looking around got their picture taken and got scared and took the card. They sure could have taken the whole camera and bunch of other stuff.
