    Eotech L3

How dependable are they about returning to zero if removed and re-installed. I do NOT have the quick detach mounts BTW.

Does the Larue raise the sight or does it just replace the rail?

Without a QD mount my Eotech would never return to zero when removed.

yeah i think you risk a lot of movement without a qd mount.

texasbowhunters raises his as he has the micro scope

raises slightly for co-witness...it is THE way to go for qd. If your 557 has the built in riser, it will be too high.

It does raise the aimpoint but like Artos said, it's perfect for co-witness.....

The other one I use raises the rifle scope too but I haven't noticed any ill affects from it, doesn't seem high or anything like that... In fact, when I shoulder the gun it is perfect!!!

I have a 552 using the standard bolt through mount and at the ranges I use it goes back to original zero or at least VERY close. I do plan on getting a Larue mount for it though.

Like you've already noticed you can use it with the 557 models though.

Mike, It's all handled brother... Last time I was home we were having some beers and cooking out and a friend of a friend showed up and low and behold he owns a gun shop in Conroe and he is all into the auto/ semi auto's.... Long story short he told me to bring it by and he slammed it all in there in a couple hours for $20....

So what is my option for swapping back and forth from scope to EOTeck?
