    i need some advise please.....

I have a diamond bow and using 40lbs on it.......... is this true am i gonna make it mad or does he really just wanna go with me? All comments are welcome because i would love to prove him wrong =) Thank Yall and HAPPY EASTER

Ted Nugents wife Shemane shoots the same weight and she kills plenty. Just concentrate on shot placement and it should be no problem. My bow is set @70# draw and I have made a few pigs MAD myself. Tell him to bring a video camera instead. Go Get Em Girl

Unless your hunting the Russian Boars you really have nothing to worry about. The typical feral hog will just run off when you shoot em. Have your brother film the hunt that would be pretty cool. Sounds like he just wants to tag along with his sister.

You're fine with your set up. Placement, as always, is key. My daughter shoots 28# and kills deer with it so 40 sould be fine. I also have video of my wife and some of her friends shooting hogs at night with 40# and passing through them.
If you want to prove him wrong make sure he knows that he doesn't put an anchor shot in it after you shoot otherwise his story will be he had to kill it because you didn't. Tell him if he wants to back you up that's fine but he better not shoot till that hog is chewing on you leg.

          Happy Easter Moma.
You'll be fine I'm sure. But hunting is all about sharing too. IMHO

I agree w/ Brandon, unless they are hunting animals w/ kevlar vest, placement is key, and 40 is plenty..

As long as you are shooting a good cut on contact broadhead that is razer sharp you will be fine.... Lots of folks shooting the lower poundage bow these days and with the technology, broadheads, etc... they are having great success!!!! I like the idea of having your bro film the hunt/kill for you and you can let him tote a pistol just to make him feel better!!!!

"Gun not needed." Old Indian saying I've adopted. Fits this situation nicely.

Just focus on shot placement, remember the vitals are a little more forward on a hog than they are on a whitetail. Tell your brother to bring the video camera and watch his sister lay the smack down on a pig.

I suggest he can come along, only if he brings the beer and the video camera.
