So I am laying here in bed depressed (the following is why, and how the latter part of the week has gone for me)...
so thursday morning I got up, and did my daily routine. got to work by 7:30. Well my works health insurance wanted everyone to give blood. So we had a lady at our office that morning to take everyone's blood.
I passed out after the draw. Woke up on the floor, and felt a little better.
After a few hours my hands and lips and toungue/mouth started tingling. So I went and asked the nurse, and she said thats not normal. she said I was hyperventalating. So we tried a paper bag. After a bit the tingling went away, but then A HUGE headache started. at 1100 my boss said to go home. I head home, and as I pull in the driveway my head hurts so bad I start pucking!
My head hurt SO **** bad that I couldnt even move or lay down. I just broke down and yes it hurt so bad tears were coming from my eyes (still throwing up and dizzy). So my wife takes me to texas med clinic. They looked at me for 5 - 10 minutes, and said you need to go to the ER.
We get to the ER, and they give me a Cat Scan, and a spinal tap, and morfine and a bunch of other stuff. and Fluids. (I like fluids after the IV is installed)... Turns out I have two ear infections (one in each ear) my perscription (eyes) is off, and I have a headache like no other from ear infections for weeks/months.
They finally send me home (Just got home). they gave me darvaset and something for the infections. I did get a doctors note so I was off good friday
Still have a bad headache, but its not quite bad enough anymore to where I just want to kill myself. I really did just want to shoot myself!!!
Just thought I would share my experience.
Good news is no internal bleeding or brain tumors. My heart is good to go, and my spinal situations are good to go. That is comforting... Good thing for insurance! Med clinic didnt charge me a copay because they didnt do ****, and since I went to the med clinic first, and they sent me to the ER I shouldnt have to pay my 250 dollar ER visit deducatble!!! DIDNT COST ME ANYTHING! I guess when you pay 650 a month for insurance it actually can be worth it!
