    Where to shoot a turkey?

Headed down south of friday to see if I can get a turkey. Never shot one with a bow and was wonderin where the best place to shoot them is? I will be using fixed broadheads. I hear shooting them facing away is the best? thanks!

Broadside at the base of the wing or my favorite shot is them facing you right under the beard, both have worked for me. Good Luck

I have always aimed for the area of the wing joint, first its were the vitals are and second you stand a very good chance of breaking the wing joints and they cannot fly away..

              Base of the neck.
Ive shot to many turkeys in the body and never found them.I rather hit them and kill them or miss.

Wait till it turns to the side and try to break both wing joints. If you pull it off you also sever the spine.

So pretty much center mass then no matter which way hes facing?

If straight on, I aim where the waddles meet the feathers: base of the neck.
Facing away.... well, it sort of presents it's own bulls-eye.
