Crawfish festival in Trinity, TX?

Does anyone know if there is still a spring crawfish festival in Trinity, TX?

I know there is a pretty good one in old town Spring, but years ago I went to one in the little town of Trinity and really enjoyed it.

been around Trinity for years. Between school in Huntsville and marrying a girl from Lovelady I'm pretty sure I would have heard about a crawfish festival in Trinity...........Never have.

Lived in Riverside for a few years while I was at Sam. My FIL still lives there. Have never heard of a crawfish festival in Trinity.

Does anyone know if there is still a spring crawfish festival in Trinity, TX?

We lived in Lovelady for 5 years and there seemed to be a crawfish festival every year but we moved back to Conroe two years ago and I've lost track of the things going on up there. If you find out there is still one send us a post on it.

I was starting to think I was going crazy.... or crazier. I remember going to the crawfish thing in Trinity once, seems like it was all the 'tails you could eat and free beer. I remember the music was mediocre, but the Mike's Hard Lemonade made it quite enjoyable! If I remember correctly, I had to stop drinking and start eating crawfish again so I could drive home..... yeah, I was younger and dumber back then.

I'm still looking for any info, and I'll pass it along if I can find something.

If I remember correctly it is a local fund raising function with limited ticket sales. I cannot remember exactly what group puts on the boil. It was in the Trinity newspaper last year and that was about the only advertisement that I saw. Could not find any tickets the weekend of the boil. Since the fish aren't biting, I am waiting for the Spring Town crawfish festival in April. NOW that place knows how to throw a PARTY! Just bring all the money you can carry.

I'm still looking, but so far only have rumors that it might be happening in mid-May. I'll update when I find out solid info.
