Austin Land and Cattle was the go-to date night for Kara and me for a long time. However, we have been disappointed wiht our last two visits.

I would agree with others that you can't go wrong with Ruth Chris, Sullivans, Flemmings, or Steiners.

Take him to Cooper's in Llano....Texas mesquite BBQ PLUS they have sirloin. Guaranteed he will be more impressed than the uppity places mentioned plus they have those same type places wherever he lives.

I am not a big "out to eat steak" kinda guy. You can usually make better at home in 30 minutes. i really have no input on steak houses.
