    Tree mounted camera arm..

    Has anyone ever built one of these? Was wanting to try it out. Any ideas??

    get a 5gal bucket and put concre in the bucket. and then put a 4x4 wood in the center of the bucket make sure it leavel. tie a rope on to somthing in 4 ways from the top pole. where it sit still leave it out then let sit over the night. and it will dry up then it all ready to go it abt 40bls to 50bls my dad made that and never broke and we had bad high winds and it never got tip over it works for us. it only take abt 15mins to do it then ur all good to go.

      I think he is talking about a camera arm that attaches to the tree to video his hunts. I welded a screw in tree step to a 3/4' steel coupling and wrapped electrical tape to the shaft of an old tripod (the part that extends) and just put in in the coupling, had one on every one of my stand sites. Hard to move around a bunch but for shooting over a feeder where you know the shot will most likely be it works great.
