    GPS guru's unite!

OK, I think I have narrowed down to either the Garmin Oregon 450 or the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx. Kinda leanin towards the Oregon due to size, and the touch screen is kinda cool. I worry about the "antenna" of the 60CSx snaggin on stuff. It will be primarily be used on ATV rides, but want to try the geo-cache'n thing to get the kids in the field too. Also like the size of the screen on the Oregon, easier to see while scootin down a trail. They seem pretty comparable as far as durability and features. I won't be doing any hi speed wireless sharing and stuff like that, so hi end features aren't necessarily a requirement for me.

I know the Oregon series is new, and I have heard a lot of folks on here that have and like the 60CSx, so trying to figure out which way to go.

    What say you braintrust?

I have the Oregon and love it. I use it on my four wheeler as well. Works great and very user friendly.

60CSx for me. The Oregon was not an option when I got my 60, but I've played with one, and really didn't find anything that pulled me in. Love my 60Csx though. It has some built-in geochache features. If you're going to geocache much though, you really need 3 things: 1) a good gps, 2) an iphone, 3)the geocache.com app on your iphone.... it beats the heck out of writing down complex hints and puzzles on note paper before you head about. The ability to pull out your phone and see a listing of every cache within a specified distance is priceless. Sorry I chased a rabbit, my vote is 60Csx.

Actually Matt, one of your comments on another thread led me to check out the CSx, didn't even look at it 'til then. I've been wrestlin between the two for a couple weeks now, figured I would put it up to the jury

PS - I haven't forgot about ya, been super busy trying to do some work catch up while the rain is allowin it.
