1st Ar-15 build finished!

Well I was going to post this in one of the already started AR threads, but could not find the one with pics of builds and what not so here goes. This is My 1st AR and 1st full build to boot. It's a Daniel Defense 16" barrel, 10" DD lite free float hand guard, CMT/Stag upper receiver, DD BCA and charging handle, CMT/Stag lower and lower parts kit with a magpul 6 pos. stock.
So far so good, got to go out and test fire it the other day and did not have any miss feeds or burst fire. Now for some glass and some BUIS and I'll be set. Any tips or recommendations will be accepted

congrats. Magpul sights are going to be the cheapest iron sights. For optics, it depends on what you built it for:

SHTF rifle - Aimpoint Micro
SHTF rifle w/ magnification: Trijicon 1-4 or Burris XTR 1-4
Varmint gun - whatever you want.

I don't see how that is any more "usable" than having it installed behind that eotech.

Yes, actualy looking into My options for running BUIS sort of like that. My only issue is if the 10" hand guard will give Me enough sight radius to make them effective even at short range.?.

sling attach point is just a standard right hand single point sling plate and the sling is the magpul MS2 http://store.magpul.com/product/38/52

Great looking rifle!!! I have an Aimpoint M3Comp and a EOTech for my ARs. I really prefer the Aimpoint. My groups are a little better with the Aimpoint. It got mine from LaRue Tactical with their mount. JMHO!!!
