David is a really good guy. He helped me get started in rodeo. He taught me how to catch a steer of of a horse. I had allready been throwing them down on the ground but had no horse or clue how to bulldog He took special intrest in a 17 year old kid and taught me how. He was very modest, allways saying " I'm no bulldogger I'm a calf roper" I learned how on his roping horse Hank he was an awesome calf horse but could fly by a steer as well. The first one I jumped stopped and took all my breath away. Once I caught my breath he said climb on boy let's run another. The next one went well and I was hooked. Man that was 20 years ago.

Very cool story! Makes me want another healer. Well, I've always wanted another healer, this fueled the fire some more.

that dog is amazing but thats a real good man. Listening to him reminded me of Christ like humbleness.

Well I enjoyed the first 5 min and 30 seconds of the video.

Very few things in this world compare to a good dog!

Thanks for sharing. I've met David a few times at rodeos years ago when he would bring Skidboot out to perform for the croud. Very great, down to earth guy and an amazing dog. Skidboot will be missed.
