Bought one the other day after my old wire style chicken holder broke. Last night I put a half an onion and a shallot in between the "spikes" to hold in the cavity of the bird. Also took the liver/neck/etc from the cavity and put those into the "cup". Then, I sliced some serranos and stuffed them in from the top and sealed it off with the "plug" that comes with it. Then I took the remainder of the onion and serranos and put them in the "drip tray" at the bottom and used the juices that come off the bird while its cooking to baste the bird when it came off the Egg. Turned out really well.
Also dusted the bird with Fiesta's "Chicken Rub" for good measure as well.
