when you connect your iphone, itunes should come up and do it's normal thing, be it sync or not, once it's open, if you click on your phone listing in the left navigation pane, you will then get all the sync options to the right:
(loneaggie, can your mac have that many browsers open, with tabs and not crash?)
each of the tabs at the top you can click on and choose many varied options of each and whether or not to sync that option to the computer it is on...ie, you can have itunes on several computers I believe (think there is a limit with the music part) and have this sync with this computer and then on the other have said option disabled on second computer but have one enabled that is not on the first...I have not tried all options on two different computers like I use because I do not have a desire or wish to sync the whole shooting match on both computers.

Now about the original question, the phone will id itself with one library. You have to jump through a few hopes to sync on multiple computers. The very short answer is maybe lol, the somewhat longer one is yes, but depends on how involved you want to getWhat blacksunshine says above is a pretty good summary. You can have 5 computers authorized per iTunes account I believe.
