This is not the first time that has happened there either. Me the wife and kids went out there and the same thing happened. they had to shut down the tiger section. It was the same cat. Beautiful animals though. There were some punk kids tormenting it and they may have S**T themselves when the cat ran on them. It was hilarious to watch the punks run.

I worked at the Zoo of Acadiana in Lafayette, LA while in grad school at USL. They had a big Bengal/Siberian tiger cross named Sampson in a large enclosure. Sampson made a game of hiding behind the bushes in his enclosure and stalking the keepers. Tigers only attack when their prey is facing away. One day I was talking to some guests and was standing between the walkway and the fence to Sampson's enclosure. I kept Sampson in the corner of my eye and he was trying to hide behind a bush stalking me. A 450+ lb tiger hiding behind a 2' tall shrub. He was about 15 yards away when I looked to one of the guests kid's to answer a question and everyone's face lit up. I lost eye contact with Sampson and he charged. He hit the fence in a flash and slammed into me sending me flying into the walkway and everyone freaked out. Fortunately his claws did not sink in. It was just a game. 2 seconds later he and I were purring at each other and I was scratching his side through the fence. He was playing with me. I am a big boy and have played football against NFL linemen. I've never been hit like that tiger hit me through the fence.

                        Beautiful Cat.

She just wanted to have some fun!

Did she walk back and start pointing claws and laughing with her friend at the scaredy humans? LOL! That was funny!
