    Polaris EV? Anyone?

Anyone have experience with the new electric Ranger? I looked at one today and it seems pretty sweet. 25mph top end and about a 50 mile range. Cost is $10,500 which is about the same as their EFI Ranger of the same size. I like the idea of no gasoline issues, but I imagine that batteries pose their own problems. I gather it's similar to the Bad Boy Buggy. Any ideas on these?

I would suspect that if the ranger is using 4x4 or running at top speeds the range will be less. I would guess maybe in the 30-35 mile range. I'm not sure that I would ever need to go more than 30 miles during a hunt, but it is a consideration.

Not sure about the free electric car thing since it is not street legal.

just bought one. you still have questions. Its awesome so far. It takes 8 - 12v batteries - so battery cost and availability is better.
