The TBH's very own Bones was on the 10th place team with 813 field dressed pounds of bacon! A great showing, especially considering that they competed against 71 teams comprised of the best hog doggers in Texas.

It really is impressive the amount of meat these guys can catch in one weekend. All the hogs in the main contest were hunted with dogs and dispatched with a knife. And all the pork is donated to charities. Nothing better than hunters giving back to the community.

I helped with the skinning the first year when there was only 2,000 lbs brought in, I can't imagine what 29,000 lbs would look like. I am so happy for Hunters Harvest.
