The early stages of a long race is another animal all together, the 1st one yesterday was all BK's fault. But don't assume this is just about last year at Dega, and yesterday.
It was a restart and everyone was going for position while the tires were fresh. CE put himself in a bad position. Should have stayed in the middle and it would have worked itself out.

I guess I was watching something different than the rest of these guy's. I thought I was watching racing.

Wow Randy I never figgured you for a BK fan boy!!! There was a pre-race special before Daytona and the ole horse tooth kid said he doesnt care about respect. All he cares about is winning and doesnt care about how he gets there. Denny H is probably a little disappointed that it wasnt him knocking the punk out with authority. The COT is turning out to be not as awesome as they thought aerodynamically, so they are having to make adjustments. It will get straightened out, and the shock value of seeing a car airborne will subside. Then it will much harder to tell who is getting paid back and when.

All I know is BK better stop the foolishness, in garage or on track. Most drivers could careless about him, and yes, I am sure most of Nascar Drivers thanked CE for the incidents. What CE did was wrong but, the punk deserves what he got. And it’s been a long time coming & BK him self knew that. Now, Where is Danica P. when I needed her the most, I’m so upset I could cry on her shoulder.

BK did nothing wrong at Talledega. Carl was wrong trying to drive with his rear view mirror. I hate blocking. I hope they park Carl for 1 race and take away 500 driver points so he has no chance for the chase. If drivers have a problem with another driver settle it behind the hauler. Don't kill a driver or a fan.

                Link to history lesson....

Is BK a "little punk" who needs to be taught a lesson? Yes...without a doubt...like a LOT of young drivers trying to make a name for himself, he's aggressively trying to get Ws and keep his job...and he makes some bad decisions at times.

Does BK deserve to die on the oval after being intentionally wrecked? I still say, no.

I agree that the 'dega wreck last year was 100% Carl's fault and no matter who pats his back for yesterday it was a classless, dangerous move....

Every person has to decide what code they want to live by and hopefully this explains mine.
                ~ Carl Edwards
                ...sure does, Carl.

                    Rubbin is racin.

I dont think for one second that Carl's intention was to put the kid on his head or get him hurt.

NASCAR wont be too ruff on him, because it sells tickets. That part is our fault. Could you imagine how many folks would be cryin in their beer and startin threads about how boring races are if there was no wrecks?

Race cars have roll cages, safety belts, blah, blah, blah......for a reason!

Did Carl want to spin him? Yessir!

Put him in the wall? You betcha!

Hurt him or anybody else? I seriously doubt it.

UPDATE: Carl Edwards has been placed on three weeks' probation by NASCAR for intentionally wrecking Brad Keselowski's car during last weekend's race at Atlanta. NASCAR president Mike Helton said Tuesday there are two separate issues: the wreck itself, and the fact that Keselowski's car went airborne. He says NASCAR is reviewing why the car left the track, and adds that NASCAR will meet with both drivers and their car owners to "clean the slate."(Associated Press) (3-9-2010)

                          "Gloves Off"... Gotta love NASCAR!

Probation at Bristol? They might as well take 4th gear away!

well evidently NASCAR thought as many of us do here. No driver points taken away, no suspension and a three week slap on the wrist....
