    Feeder Size and Weight

I'm in the process of builing a feeder and was curious if anyone could give me an idea on the amount of corn it will hold, the dimensions are
3.5 feet tall by 3 feet by 3 feet with a v bottom.

my guess would be around 500-550 lbs

A 55 gal drum without a funnel on the inside will hold 6 bags of corn. I'd say you'd be able to put 7 bags maybe a little less.

I'm no mathmatician but that's 31.5 cu ft.

I was thinking in the 500 pound range myself, I have a 300 pound Sweeney sitting next to it and this one is much larger.

The protein feeders that we used in NY were a very similar design and they held around 550 lbs.

I use the 600 lb all season and atasscosa spin feeders and your dimensions sound about the same. Best way to tell is when you fill it up.
