Need Help! with Anniv.

I need help. My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniv. in a couple of weeks. I want to take her somewhere nice for a couple of nights but don't know where to look. Are there any places you can recommend? Keep in mind we can only be gone appx 2 nights, and can't afford a "high dollar" place. Something nice, romantic, and not too far from home. We live between Dallas and Tyler. I would appreciate any help! Thanks.

i think there are some bed and breakfast cabins around athens or palestine. i don't remember the names but should be able to do a google search and find them.

I agree with Quackerback - a bed and breakfast cabin or cottage would be the way to go.

Found out about it on here and we have been several times. Take everything with you (food, ice, beverage, etc). It is out in the sticks, cell phones don't work real well but you will love it.

inspiration hill in fredrickburg, only place ive ever stayed at like that, beutiful place, nice private outside shower, on a few acres with no one around, great view, deer in the yard, very cool place close to town
