Things you shouldn't have to explain to your kids.

I know times change but I'm tired of having to explain to my kids the crap you hear on the radio and see on tv. If you want to cheat on your spouse then have at it. Why is there a special website for it and why do my kids have to hear it on the radio. Why do they have to hear about something on tv that makes you grow in certain areas. Try explaining that to your eleven year old daughter. Is there nothing private anymore between adults. I grew up in the sixties and seventies and there is no way any of this crap would of been tolorated. What has this world become. Sorry for the rant. Carry on.

Times have changed. You can't escape it, you just gotta talk to them about it before they have to go ask a friend who's older sibling has already taught them all the bad habits/jargon.

I used to be all anti censorship and stuff... then I had kids. I never realized the kind of crap they could show these days. It's crazy and scary. Shows glamorizing sex and teen pregnancy it pixxes me off.

It was but it wasn't in your face like it is today. There is hardly a song on the radio that doesn't reference sex, drugs, gangs or killing. And they wonder what's wrong with our children.

Seems like the one option is to not watch TV. That should not be, but it seems to be.

Try raising a child in Las Vegas, the main reason I wanted my son growing up in CenTex...try explaining the billboards that read ..."direct to your room in 30 minutes"..and they aint talking about pizza

When the young gals of today's role model is Hannah Montana, a 17 yr old gal dressing like a mid 20's streetwalker is there any doubt as to why society is crumbling

My husband always says what is tolerated in one generation, becomes accepted in the next. Been true for over a century.
