Let's go on a moose hunt!

I'm starting to think I'd like to go moose hunting. Anyone been? Let's hear about it! Any reccomendations on outfitters, or other details. About how much would it cost? I don't care where or what type of moose, give me all the info you got!

there are places in quebec but it's 1 moose for every 2 hunters so I would rule that out. ontario is ok moose. highest percentages are alaskan yukon moose but they are much more expensive. I have a couple outfitters at the casa that I looked into for canadian moose but i'm not there now. remind me and i'll dig them up. shiras moose are a high percentage provided you can get drawn. your best bet if you don't have points is in ID. but it takes some money to try to draw.

I'm in the draws for several states for the shiras moose. Those yukon hunts are a little out of range for me. I almost booked one for $12,000 but decided to take my Dad on a awesome mule deer hunt in Utah for the same price. Seemed like more fun to have my Dad there to enjoy the adventure instead of going by myself to the yukon. Hopefully next year I can take me and my Dad to the Yukon.
