    lets play... whats this plant! round two!

    Lets try this again.

    From the plant guro's I need a little help identifying this plant for a school project. It was found in Nacogdoches texas along a stream. It is about a foot tall, and the leaves are about 2.5 inches long. The pic is of a young plant. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks again

        Only thing I can come up with is possibly a young Milkweed. I'm not sure though

                  Let it grow!!!! The monarchs will only lay they eggs on these as this is the only thing the caterpillars eat.

                      dont think its milkweed (smooth edged and hairy leaves). are these leaves hairy (if so...top, bottom, or both)?

                        My girlfriend (who's project it is) says they are rough leaves. Thanks for the leads everybody. she will get a new sample tomorrow and try to id it and will post up a better description of it also.
