Selling a Sailboat?

Dad owns an old 73 (I think) Cal sailboat that he's had for quite a number of years. He has given it to me to sell for him, and I really don't know where to start. Has anyone ever sold a boat like this? Is there any kind of bluebook for sailboats? Websites I should check out? Boat forums? Tips for selling?

Did you say a '73 Cal? Oh no. You have a floating liability there. People who have owned them in the past, or are trying to sell them via internet cause all the arrows in a 2000 mile radius to fly off target, for all the fish to stop biting, and for the coming winter to equal Omaha conditions.

The only way to undo this tragedy, for everyone's sake is to give it to a guy who posts the dangers of this craft on a hunting forum. And his ID has to be MC70.
