I'm trying to summon the motivation to go to the polls. I follow national and (even international ) politics very closely - I find it interesting and important. But for some reason I can't get fired up about state and local politics. This makes no sense, I know - state and local are more likely to affect me directly. Maybe it's the gov candidates - I once again find myself trying to decide who I dislike the least. I'm sure I'll go do my civic duty and vote - I just wish for once I could get excited about it.

It was shameful how they all wanted to be part of the Toyota circus even though they were NOT on the committee. Two of my appointments were actually cancelled!!!
Politics have been BAD, BAD, BAD for nearly 50 years.........if NOT longer.

I was there at 7am. I recommend you take your own black ink pen. I only had a blue ink pen with me and the black ink one they gave me was fine point and took a long time to fill in the bubbles. They were supposed to have electronic voting available in my precinct, but they hadn't worked out the kinks yet this morning, so I had to go with paper.
Oh well, at least there were no hanging chads!Last edited by Snakelover; 03-02-2010, 09:05 AM.
