I shoot one and love it, never had any problems, mine is an 08, I havnt had a chance to shoot the new one yet, I hope its just as good. A guy at cabelas told me they ruined it with the flx stuff, but everyone is different, ill have to shoot it myself.
I also talked with the guy at Cabelas...did he happen to mention that they have a new Cabela's bow that is just like the Black Ice without the FLX guard? Sounds like they're just trying to sell you their bow rather than Diamond.

I shot the Iceman with the FLX guard and it was smooth. I have a 07 BI and looking to upgrade mine.

Very smooth bow. I taught myself to shoot left handed a few years ago with one. We have a Black Ice Flex in my store that we haven't taken out of the box yet.... might have to get this one set up and try out in the next couple of days......

I shot the Black Ice last yr and was going to buy it until I was handed the Marquis and then I shot it. Both bows were super smooth with no shock but the Marquis just felt better in my hand. May just have been me but I opted for the Marquis. I have been shooting Mathews many trs but I am still very impressed with the Bowtech line of bows, Sweeeetttt....

Yep. I bought the 2010, and have had it re-served in the area where DDS is talking about. His buddy behind the counter did it for me.

Great bow, and if Diamond doesn't respond soon... I'm going to take it to a press and file away the sharp edge.
