Just watched a Bill J hunt the half brothers ranch. He was in a bow blind waiting for a deer they had already found. Deer came in the first day and didnt give himn a shot. Of course as soon as the deer walks in, he set his bow down and says, I dont think he will get close. then on the 3rd day, deer is walking back in and eating the hand corn in front of him. Again, he sets the bow down and says I dont think he is coming in. LOLOLOL the deer was already in. So he grabs the riffle and shoots him saying he just was not going to come in.. Makes me laugh. Love seeing big deer. He sure did not trust himself as a bowman. Now he is bowhunting management deer. Bet he stays with his bow now. Already shot a giant with the TC...

That's show is a few years old. I thought the same thing that deer was well in range I just don't think he had the confidence to make the shot on that deer.
You've got to question his commitment when he drags a Bang Stick to the bow stand. Don't get me wrong I'm not an elitist; I will rifle hunt if I'm on place where I've only got a couple of days or if you can't bait like on a park hunt. Just make up your mind one way or the other.
I’ve taken to almost exclusively bow hunting on my home lease.

let the man shoot the deer with what he wants...if he truly didnt have confidence in his ability to kill that deer with his bow then more power to him....if he hit the deer bad yall would gripe to like a previous thread on here....cant have it both ways...the deer looks the same on the wall regardless of what it was killed with. i would much rather watch someone hunt in texas than in some state up north....just somethin about watchin people hunt where we call home...
