I'm without a bow, maybe someone can help

The riser on my bow is cracked, so it has shoot it's last arrow. I was wondering if anybody knew if parts for older High Country bows are still available. It's a Carbon 4Runner. If I can find a new riser, it would be best for me right now. No budget for a new bow right now. Thanks for any help.

From what I understand, hca has changed hands a few times and the warranty work is near impossible to obtain. A couple guys on here shoot hca so they may have more info to help you out. You can also check archery talk . com and do a search on hca.

try to find the same bow on Craigslist, Ebay, etc... Then use it for parts or just use the bow.

I called HCA to get the specs of the cams off a 2007 Iron Mace and she told me that sicne they changed hands, they no longer support any bows that are 2007 and older. Ur screwed man. Check craigslist or AT.

I have a 4 runner that I use as a back up bow. It's in great shape. Shoot me a PM if your interested in some kind of trade or I'll sell it outright.

Do a search on crazedlist.org. You can search all the craigslists in Texas (or any area) at one time with one search. Look for HCA Archery maybe there is one for sale.

Did you post on AT? Somebody is looking for one there.

Thanks for the replies. No, I did not post on AT. I think that I'm just going to break down and save up and get a new bow. Ron, are you the one who was in the bowhunter ed class last weekend?

If you are interested in a used bow, I have several late model bows I will soon be letting go of. If you are interested pm me.they are in excellent shape and I have spare parts and limbs.

Sorry to hear about your Carbon Force - I know it's been about a month, but just stumbled onto your thread. That riser would be tricky even for us to find. Below is a copy of the official warrant policy from Hunter's Heritage (the parent company that bought HCA). If you have any questions or need to discuss further, send me a message.

                      4) Honoring HCA’s original warranty policy. Even though the asset purchase of HCA does not require Hunters Heritage Group to warranty the previous companies work, HHG wants to show to HCA’s loyal following, that we will honor their original warranty policy.
Any bow with the Barnesdale Limbs, will continue to have the bow repaired and warrantied as originally stated in HCA INC.’s original warranty policy.
Any product that does not have a Barnesdale Limb, and where parts are not available, we will stick to what was original stated in the warranty policy, we will replace your bow with a new model at 50% off retail price.

                      If you have any questions

Maybe you could replace his carbon riser with an aluminum riser for the same model...I believe HCA offered the 4runner with a aluminum one...limb pockets should be the same...Now that would be paying it back for HCA customer loyalty
