What's is the cheapest price on bagged protein,16 or 20% anyone has found. I normally feed antlermax at the ranch but, can't give that for bowlease deer. I am in the waller,tomball, magnolia area.thanks

We don’t run the specialty name protein feed but what we have been using for years is Lone Star Black Bag small range pellets. Should be able to find them at most feed stores.

They’re 20% according to the bag, deer, hogs, and unfortunately Raccoons love the stuff.

Up until about a year ago it was sitting at $10/bag but they upped the price to $12.50 and yes, it will throw out of a timed feeder as long as the pellets don’t get wet.

Where do you see the pellet size on the bag? I didn't realize they had different sizes of cubes

I just fed some creep feed 14% 3/8ths pellet but I would prefer this stuff if pellets small enough

I've been using the HIpro 17% from Struddys @ $10.50 and the deer are emptying a 55 gal drum every week. Hogs generally come by and clean up what the deer knock out. Backyard pet deer are finishing a bale of alfalfa in 2 or 3 days. Don't think I've ever see such hungry deer! Is this year just different?!

I can get you a pic of the number on the bag in a couple of weeks but ask for the small cubes/pellets.

The previous picture is about a year old and I think they may have changed the bag up but they should look like this pic.
