fixed blade or expandle? for bear hunt

hi yall, im goin to canada on a black bear hunt with my dad and we are using our bows and i was just wanting some advice on what type of broadhead to use, i normally use a G5 montec or a mini-max vortec expandable when i hunt, but i didn't know if their hide was very tough and thick and what broadhead would be best to use on a black bear, i preciate it!

Never hunted bear, but the G5 sounds like the ticket to me. If I ever get the change to go for bear, my Rages will be left at home and a good fixed blade will be in the quiver.

Use whatever you normally use......... I figure if my Rage two blade will take down a buffalo within 40 yrds it will take down a bear as well.

Go to G5's sight and check out the new T3 also...

Black bears are not thick skinned at all. Whatever you use for Whitetails will be fine.

I used Spitfire Xp Pros and they worked great.

I'm taking my Rage 2 Blade to Maine with me in September as well as Slick Tricks.
Rage worked on a buffalo, it's goin to work on a bear.

I went to canada last may and shot a nice black bear at 18 yards. I used a grim reaper broadhead and it went all the way thru and the arrow went about 5 inches in the ground and the bear only went about 40 yards. Go with grim reaper expandable , iT looked like a baseball went thru my bear.
