    Lake Texoma Striper Guide Needed

I am thinking about taking the kids up to lake texoma for a day of striper fishing over spring break. My problem is that it has been almost 5 years since I went on a striper trip up on Texoma. Last time I went it was with tinker's striper service.

Since it has been so long and I have no idea who to go with now... I want current recommendations with pics if you have them. Also, are there any guides up there friendly to the green screen?

Jeff Bond guide service. 903-487-0222. Known jeff for 25 years. Tell him Bull sent ya. He'll do you right and you'll boat a bunch and big fish. Not a better man out there I promise. Best of luck. He loves to help the kids fish.

use to use a guide near Highport named Cal Callendar(sp). He had a web site. He was always the best one that I ever used. Has a cabin there and boat dock. Good catfishing at the boat dock. Can fish at the dock before and while he is cleaning your fish. He even removes the red meat for you. Asked a guide about removing the red meat for me one time and he just laughed at me. Look him up. Well I cant find his web site but this guy:
http://texomaguide.com/ comes highly recommended also. You can check out sixoldgeezers.com and many speak highly of J.D. Lyle, plus he gives a discount for kids.

Dan Barnett's guaranteed guide service and his website is www.danbarnett.com Dan is a really nice guy and really knows where the stripers are. We caught several 35" fish on our trip and had a great time limiting out in less than 3 1/2 hours. He's is my go to guide when fishing Texoma hands down......

I have always went with tinker and always caught lots of fish. He died this year but believe the business is being run the same way. His business and ties are probably one of the oldest on the lake and they borrow/use each other on where the fish are. Bullydog and I went on a trip with em a year or two back when but a few were allowed on the lake. Was pretty awesome being on lake texoma by yourself. Not many boats were seen. You cant go wrong with them and they have a cabin you can use.

I believe Brian Prichard who was talked about above was our guide for the day when bullydog went with me. He is the infamous austin college grad fishing guide. Good guy and guide. If tinker is full they bring in the others.

I never take strippers with me when I go fishing. It's too distracting.

X2 on Dan, but you better get booking quick. Spring break and spring in particular is always booked way in advance.
