Anderson Bean Horse Power Boots - Reviews?

Anybody own a pair? They are a good looking boot, and the price is definitely right.

    How is the quality?

    Comfort?

Ive heard they are poor quality for a bean boot.

I have yet to figure out the difference between the horse power, and the reg'lar ABs....

I've got a pair of Beans and they are my favorite boots I've ever owned. I did walk through the original leather sole in about 5 or 6 months. I sent them back, and for 35 bucks they put new soles, a rubber sole saver across the whole bottom and new heels. Since then I wore out the heels again (I walk on the outside of my heels), and have had new ones put on at the local boot/shoe repair for 15$. They are the most comfortable boots I've owned but they did take some breaking in.

i have both of them defintely cheaper than the original bean and you get what you are paying for...i buy em then wear em out in about 5 to 6 months and get them re-soled then they are good to go. puttin a new sole on em is way cheaper than buying another pair. i got them on now after being re-soled and are great. other than they are cheaper and not as high a quality than the original they are a pretty good boot and probably will buy another pair no doubt.

I bought my regular pair back in 2006 and I fixing to get the third sole put on them. The first was the original and the second was a sole put on at a local shop. The second one lasted longer.

Nope for kicking punks in the teeth...square toe get 3-4 where pointed toe 1-2!

                        j/k

Horespower beans are made in Mexico and not as high of quality as normal beans.

I just picked up a pair of h-P's. they look good for a buck fifty. i had a pair a few years ago when Rios did a test run and didn't know it. my first pair was ruined with grease. they did hold up pretty good other than that.

btw- the craftsmanship is equal or better to beans, it the materials that is not. this is what i was told by two different people.

Finally picked me a pair up yesterday, I love them so far. Wasn't too fond of the crosses at first, but it's not so bad. Only bottom color and size combination that I liked. ( not that I have anything against a cross, just not my boot style )

I hope they last, as well as my Ariats.

                              Bottoms are Bison leather.
