Let me get this straight. You would like a felon hunting on your propety/lease just because you pay a minimal trespass fee? It's especially worse since the farmer's daughter just loves the 'bad boy' and he gets to hunt for free. I hope everyone's safety and integrity is in check. This seems like a really bad idea!

Do the right thing -- even if it does hurt you.
It constantly amazes me how many people will get on a public forum and say they can just turn a blind eye to an offense that means state jail time. The price of the lease has absolutely nothing to do with the situation.
Please tell me how you can explain that your kids.
I guess right is right, unless you can get something good out of something that is wrong......

I don`t think he can even buy a liscense if he has a felony conviction, but I may be wrong.Do you think I should drop a dime on him to the GW and get him real trouble or bite my tounge and put up with his bs from now on. I really don`t want him to get in serious trouble, but I would like it a lot if he wasn`t on our lease . I forgot to mention that he hunts for free as well to. The owner added him to the lease and didn`t go down on the price per hunter either.I really don`t want to jepordize my hunting priviledges by telling on him so I thought someone might have a creative idea to how handle the problem so it wouldn`t come back to bite me on the back side. I really don`t want to let the jeanny out of the bottle and not be able to get him back in.
Are you considering turning him in because he is a felon or are you considering turning him in because you don't like him,he hunts for free and this is a way to get rid of him.If he paid and was a good guy to be around would you still consider turning him in?

Before you knew he was a felon did you have a problem with the guy? Was his conviction a rapist or did he screw up in college and ride with the wrong guy with a little speed in his pocket. Not saying he was right for doing that either but why is it your responsibility to judge that. How do you know that it wasnt many years ago and he may have a pardon from the governor just to hunt. In Louisiana my cousin is a detective for the sherriffs department and there the Sherriff can allow a felon to hunt with a shotgun but needs pre-approval
