    Movie Review......Shutter Island w/Decaprio

Well the wife and I just walked in from the hugely advertised movie!
It was 2 hours and 10 minutes of pain for me......and obvousily about 1/3 of a FULL theater.
The plot was weak at best as a moviegoer could figure out what was going to happen next.
The flashbacks were waaaaay to often.......even for a pyschological thriller!
I was twisting in the seat like a 10 year old during some portions of the movie.
To be honest, I was hoping for some type of bizarre twist in the last 10 minutes to save the FILM! It never came!!!
Daggit, I knew the WEREWOLF movie would have been a better choice.......but the wife got to choose this time!
    SCALE of 1 - 10....................5 at best!!!

man, what a let down. The previews looked pretty scary but I'd heard what you stated from the critics.

Well that is a little sad to hear, looks like it had potential on the trailers...

I don't need to see that movie. My office is on a maximum security unit for the criminally insane. I get to see that stuff for real all the time.

Decaprio? I thought he died in Titanic?

Anybody heard any Wolfman reviews yet?

Glad you posted and saved me the price of admission.
I have seen the Wolfman movie and I liked it. It is a remake of the original with Lon Chaney Jr. but the story line has been changed some.

I promoted ZYPREXA, CYMBALTA and PROZAC across 8 states in prison systems for Eli Lilly! I would spend alot of time ON THE UNITS so I went into the movie with probably to much background on the drug regimes used in the 1940's/50's. The movie just never got on solid ground and that is odd for a Martin Scorsee flick.
Oh, the critics (per my wife) gave it a B+ so I assumed it was going to be halfway decent.

Thanks for the warning. I read the book and really, really dug the book. I'll wait to see the movie when the DVD hits the WalMart discount section.

Have not seen this movie or avatar. Now The Book of Eli - THAT'S a movie. Washington is great.

The Wolfman movie is my next movie to see. Anthony Hopkins can play some good mean/wicked person parts.
