Downsizing photos to download here ???

OK, not a computer genius, so how do I downsize a couple of photos before I can get them to download for a new thread?

You can right click the photo and open it in Paint. Then on the top tool bar select image and then resize it.

Try this. Right click on photo, open with Microsoft office picture manager, click edit pic, web size, 640x480 or something like that and no larger. Good luck. My 1st try at explaining this.

Its a little easier, if you list what version of Windows you're on. That way menu names/program names will match and make it less confusing.

Then Paint or Windows Picture Manager

Right click on the photo and select which one you want. Picture manager is easier. Use the edit function.

photosize.com makes it very easy.

Rt click pic, select send to mail recipient, select size and fill in your e-mail add., send.
It will appear in your inbox. Open and save pic to your file as "deer sm." or whatever you want to call it.

I've never been very good at that, and downloaded Irfanview from Cnet.com . Free download and makes it much easier for me.

okay..I am also trying to do this. I have gone to paint..there is no resize option. Went to another link...and followed instructions...says go to attributes.. and change demention. It does resize but from one corner, eliminating my subject. I cant choosed the area in the photo to save. Not used to using paint...am i just not seeing this?
