Gas Company Question???

Does anyone know if you can change gas companies (for your house) like you can electric companies??

as far as i know centerpoint is the only gas company in the houston area, thats the only option we got when we boought our house..

you can have your own natural gas tank depending on the size of the homesite

Yes you can switch providers, as long as there is another provider in your area and depends on the contract you signed. You can also have a propane tank but that can be limited due to certain restrictions such as neighborhood, city, land size etc. Why are you wanting to switch.
