im typing on my acer eeepc its got the 8 hour battery, get her that one the rest only have a 4 hour battery.there great for surfing the web and alittle word documents.

Could not find the one i wanted at local stores. bought it through Amazon.
Great battery life +8 hours.
Great for around the house and traveling.
I have found Amazon to have great amount of feed back on their products. The comments on Amazon while i researched indicated one of the charges Asus had was faulty. i believe the problem is fixed. Mine works great.

bought my daughter an HP for christmas , great battery life and she always has it with her allowing me to get on tbh more frequently

My daughter has the ACER and we bought my wife the ASUS. The ASUS is the better machine. Pay the $20 to upgrade the RAM to 2GB and it runs much better.

We bought them from Newegg.com. Best price we could find anywhere plus free shipping and no sales tax. Battery life is unbelievable.
