Carpal tunnel

Has anyone ever had surgery for this ??? What is the recovery time I am looking at for this procedure ? Is it painfull

i just had surgery for this in the middle of december. it depends on how they do your surgery as to how long recovery. my doctor made a small incision in the palm of my hand. i was back to work in 4 weeks, probably could have been back in 3. the pain was not bad, more soreness than anything. i wish i had done it sooner, my hand has not gone numb since the surgery.
i work outside and use my hands quite a bit. my doctor would not let me go back to work before 3 weeks to make sure my incision did not get infected.

One of the best things I ever did was have it done. You can see my post on the thread that Cajun Blake linked. The other thing that I noticed was that I use to have trouble with my shoulders and since the CT surgeries my shoulders have not bothered my one bit. The other thing that it allowed me to do was finally get a complete nights sleep.
