When you really don't want to walk home

You resort to a little jerry rigging
On my way to Lampasas this afternoon some how my radiator hose came in contact with my alternator. As a result a hole was cut into the hose.
So, not wanting to walk 12 miles back to the house or call my wife at work I came up with this solution. Since I always keep a tire repair kit in my tool box I decided to put a plug into the hole and cover it up with a patch and then tie a strap around the whole deal and hope for the best. (I also had a gallon of water in the back as well because of past radiator trouble) Well, not only did it make it back home, it never leaked a drop

Funny you should say that. I was at a hardware dealer market in Houston on Friday and bought Rescue Tape displays for all our stores. Stuff looks great. I'll have a roll in the truck and 2 in the Jeep!
