So is this a problem with just glocks?

I have reloaded and shot a bazillon lead bullets shooting IPSC. Smoke is part of lead rounds. As stated, its the lube. If you want to get away from the smoke, try a jacketed or plated bullet. I like the Berry's plated bullets. They are cheaper than jacketed and shoot well. You loaded titewad or titegroup? I thought titewad was a shotgun powder. I have loaded pounds of tite group in 40 and 45.

I now shoot a G35 for IPSC. Thats when I went to the plated bullets. I have shot lead out of a Glock with no problems but wasn't gonna push my luck.

Haven't tried ants. Whats the burn rate on them.....and does it matter, black, red or fire.

+1 On the Berry's. Cabela's in Ft. Worth has a pretty good selection.

I've used Berry's in Glocks and H&K's and never had any problem.

And someone correct me please if I'm wrong, but isn't Bullseye a fairly dirty powder?

I love Bullseye and have used it for years, but I believe there may be cleaner burning powders out there.

reloads always smoke more than factory, been reloading for over 20 years and have always had this problem even with jacketed bullets.
